「Everything was great. The main bed was too firm for me so I ended up sleeping on one of the futons which were great.」

「It was the perfect place for the end of our trip. Quiet and homely, it had everything i was looking for an more. The decor was nice, the futons were comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this to any travelers looking for a quiet homebase while exploring Kyoto and the surrounding area.」

「Wonderful place, plenty of space, I had everything we needed in. The location was fabulous. The owner was accommodating and responsive.」

「Our American family of 5 very much enjoyed our recent 8-night stay at the Kamogawa House! The house is in a great location -- just around the corner from the bus stop, Family Mart & Demachiyanagi rail station. The house itself is very peaceful and nicely designed, which is so nice to "come home" to after full days of exploring and adventuring. The beds were comfortable, A/C worked well, and we loved the tranquility of the small garden outside on the main floor. The only issue we had was with the...

「We really enjoyed this home. We had some trouble at check in trying to locate the home however the host was easy to connect with and was able to direct us to the house. We needed an extra futon set up and the host had it done before we arrived. The house was very clean and quiet. There are three good sized rooms and both bathrooms were well appointed. There is a kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer. The kitchen has everything you would need for a few days stay.」

「Maison tres charmante avec ses panneaux coulissants. Emplacement idéal près des métros, bus, combinis.」

「Gorgeous, charming house in a cute neighborhood. Perfect mix of traditional Japanese and Western amenities. Fairly close (but hilly) walk to many Kyoto sites and amenities. The perfect place for a small group to have a cozy, relaxing stay in Kyoto. I'd love to stay here again!」

「Beautiful place close to many sites and restaurants」

「Cette maison est une pépite ! Très bien placée, pas mal de choses à faire à pieds, la station de bus est très proche.Elle est bien aménagée, toute petite mais fonctionnelle.Nous avons adoré notre séjour.」

「Stayed here with friends to visit Kyoto. Is a beautiful house and great area for seeing shrines. Definitely in a bit of an uphill neighborhood though, so ordering Ubers can be challenging. Otherwise recommend for any travelers! 」

「Great property, great location, great for families」

「Very cozy and traditional home with a wonderful host」

「Clean but steep stairs and less pillows / futon bed anomaly 」

「Really clean and functional unit. Cutest half bath ever for this dog lover. Interesting knickknacks inside. 」

「Very convenient, well appointed and handy to transport. We didn't visit the national park so the mandatory rating is irrelevant. Our only problem was disposing of rubbish - not everything could be sorted into the small bins available so we had no choice but to leave a large rubbish bag. We would certainly stay there again if we're back in Kyoto.」
