「Lovely hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Located a few minutes from the beach and lots of lovely restaurants. Rooms are a great size. Only negative was a very noisy peacock living close by, but we had ear plugs so it didn't disrupt our stay. Great breakfast with lots to choose from. 」

「An excellent location, and a wonderful pool. Good price, and a small, cute place. What was not so good, was our experience checking in. We had booked a garden room, but apparently these were "fully booked", and we were given a lesser room with a street view (a noisy street). We tried to explain that this was not what we booked, but they insisted it was the same, and that the two garden rooms were not available. We could switch the next day. That was fine, but we did not want to pay full price...

「We very much enjoyed our stay at the Ballena Regency. The hotel is new (its a year old), and has been finished to a very good standard. Our room was large, and being on the third floor, had great views including a side view of the ocean. The room was very clean, lots of storage and hanging space, and very good a/c! We also had a spacious balcony with seating area. The pool area is lovely, with loungers and umbrellas for shade. The breakfasts at the hotel are hard to beat - with fresh fruit...

「大通りから小道を歩くので、子ども2人(3歳1歳)連れでは少し大変でしたが、着いてからは快適！ プールからビーチに直結しているのを知らなかったので嬉しい驚きでした。(岩場なので海水浴は出来ませんが子どもが足をつけたり貝拾いをするのには最適です) そして期待していなかったからか？(笑)食事が美味しかった。 1泊でしたが夜もチェックアウトして昼もホテルで食べました。 のんびりした雰囲気で素敵な宿でした。」

「The staff was amazing the chef made some of the best food I have ever tasted!! He was very sweet and very involved in all aspects of the villas. The curry was out of this world as well as the pasta 10 out of 10 all around. The room was large and beautiful, you felt like you had the place to yourself very highly recommend!!!」

「Loved this hotel, great location just far enough away from the very touristy Mirissa Beach. Easy walk or tuk tuk to town. Pool was small but clean & great after a day sightseeing in Galle. Very close to Turtle Beach. Lovely eateries nearby....would recommend restaurant 101, only a few minutes walk away. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.」

「We stayed for three nights with our 1 year old baby. The staff are excellent, so welcoming, and attentive and really enjoyed playing with our son. We had a sea view room, the view is beautiful, and the bathroom and shower were excellent - you can see the sea from the shower! The staff provided a lovely wooden cot which was perfect for our son. The cot fit next to the bed and the bed’s mosquito net covered the cot. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of our child’s needs....
