"Although the pictures represent a very clean, nice hotel, this is not the reality of its current state. Our room was not clean (bathroom was really dirty and had missing caulking and fungus) which was masked by a mothball scent. "

"Rooms are much larger than almost all the hotels we've stayed in Padang city in the same price range. The hotel building is really large and bright.The breakfast selection is good overall. Location is strategic to the places we frequent including the waterfront, Transmart, etc. The downside is the pillows and linens like towels are pathetically old. They should have been replaced years ago. The key cards did not work with the lifts so caused lots of downtime till the hotel decided to disable...

"The hotel not good, noisy people can smoke in the hotel lobby, along corridor and rooms. The breakfast very poor, with no choise, only fry mee. Location not good too. Far from place of interest. This was not a good trip we experience. "

"Lovely staff, very helpful. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Bottles of water everyday was appreciated. Clean, soft linen and a very comfortable bed. Walking distance to sights, the beach and great local restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel, excellent all round."
