easy check in, easy parking, easy to find, room is basic, random fake plant in the middle of the room was weird. nice sized room. my girlfriend and i stayed for 1 night visiting Newport, it was fine for what we were using it for

Communication was clear, check-in/out simple. Room very clean, had all amenities we needed. Close proximity to surrounding towns for convenience. Great place!

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect. Just a very short drive to all Newport has to offer!

We stayed at Rheas Inn for one night before the Newport marathon. It was perfect for our needs, being near town but away from the traffic. The bed was comfortable and we loved the jacuzzi-style bathtub!

Was pretty disappointed honestly . I have always had great luck with the property’s we’ve stayed at in the past . I booked this for a quick overnight to Newport celebrating my 60th and my sisters 59th birthdays . We could not find property because it sent us to a Thai restaurant which we found out we were above the restaurant . The picture online showed a home that looked to be cute as if it were a bed & breakfast . Room had nothing to offer . Random weird plant placed in middle of floor and when we moved it there was a huge stain on the rug . All in all will never be booking here again & unfortunately was pretty unhappy .

It's confusing when you check in because you walk into a restaurant that has nothing to do with the rooms and no one speaks English. There were other people checking in that were also confused. But calling the owner takes care of it immediately. There are places not far that offer a whole unit with kitchen and extra half bath for about the same price, though a little further. There's no elevator, so you're lugging up bags in NONairconditioned hallways. The room is spacious enough and you get a little fridge. There was no place to hang my dress, just a "half" bar for tops or pants. The place was clean except for the carpet which REALLY needs to be replaced. In another review someone spoke about a fake plant used to cover a ruined part of the carpet, and I thought for sure after that comment it would be different. But, alas, fake plant still there in front of mirror. It wouldn't take much to make this a 4-star stay, but for now it's still a 3 star property.
