"We took our honeymoon at Middle Bass Island in the Hazards. This was both our 1st time on the island. We learned alot about the history of the island, winery, wetlands & was able to go hiking on some of the trails they have here. Our hosts Michelle & Brian our amazing folks. They did amazing job on there Surf Shack. We didnt have NO issue at all. We needed an extra blanket & both of them came over with it. Michelle & Brian our very friendly, helpful warm & caring. I highly recommend the Surf Shack. U wont be disappointed. "

"This was perfect for a peaceful, quiet, get away. The pictures do not truly do justice to the beauty of the scenery. The condo was clean, well-equipped, and spacious. The wrap around balcony added to the experience! I would visit this condo again with one exception-for a longer stay! Thank you!"

"The location and the view cannot be beat. The photos don't even do it justice. We loved just sitting outside and watching the sunset every night. We held our wedding here and it was beautiful. The host was very accommodating with everything."

"We really enjoyed this property and the Middle and South Bass Islands. Information provided helped us plan what to expect and prepare for the trip. Loved the sunrises visible from the balcony. A great get away and unique from other places we have visited. "

"Everything was great , the view from the balcony was amazing! Middle Bass Island is more laid back than put in bay. They have a coffee shop that we liked. JE walleyes is a nice place to have a drink. And the pizza shop next to the general store was top notch! I would recommend hazards campground to anyone with a family. They have a nice pool and plenty of places for kids to ride their bikes. I know this because we rode our bikes. And if you want to spend the day at put in bay there is a short ferry ride to the main island. The coffee shop employees were very friendly and helpful, they were going to help me bring down to ferry station a third cup of coffee that I couldn’t carry because they were out of carriers. Another employee of the general store gave me a lift to the ferry station because I was lugging a lot of luggage by myself. The people of middle bass island sure know how to treat visitors!"
