Nestled in a picturesque wooded area, this Houseboat offers stunning views of the Mookerplas, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing holiday. While it provides all the comforts you’d expect from a boat, it is stationary and cannot be sailed, remaining securely moored throughout your stay. From the Houseboat’s private terrace, equipped with a swimming ladder, you can dive directly into the crystal-clear waters of the lake, perfect for a refreshing swim. Whether you're relaxing on deck or enjoying the tranquil surroundings, this location promises a memorable escape.
The lodge has a cozy living room with a comfortable couch and a table for 6 people with a direct view of the lake through the large windows. The living room leads to the terrace, with a fantastic view of the lake.
The compact kitchen has a hob, coffee machine (Senseo), fridge, and kettle. The first bedroom has a double box spring bed (160x200cm) with two single duvets and pillows. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with two single beds (80x200cm). If there are more than 4 of you, the sofa bed in the living room offers an extra sleeping place. The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin, electric heater, hairdryer, and shower cabin with sliding glass walls. The accommodation also has air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. It is possible from April 1 to November 1 to use the washer and dryer in the adjacent Driesen Marina for a fee. In addition to the Houseboat, there is also room to bring your boat to a maximum of 2.5 * 5. Parking is available in the nearby car park. It is a five-minute walk to the houseboat, and there are luggage trolleys available in the harbor.
If you love everything in and around water, this is the ideal place for you. Water rats and sun-worshippers will be in their element here surrounded by nature. You have your own 'private lake' with beautifully clear water right outside the door. If you like fishing, you can even cast a line from your terrace! There is a "Barrel Sauna with Dome" for rent with spectacular views of the Mookerplas, which can be booked by the hour all year round for guests staying in our Houseboats. You can rent a luxury sloop, kayak, or SUP for maximum enjoyment of all the possibilities on the water and moor these at your houseboat. If you want to explore your surroundings, follow one of the walking routes or hire a sturdy E-chopper with a suggested route to see even more of the area. De Mookerplas is situated in the beautiful nature reserve of De Mookerheide and is close to the German border and the lovely city of Nijmegen. A variety of restaurants and sights are within easy reach.
