"We had a great stay for a week at the Public and loved the rooftop views! The noise level was a bit high very late at night and could hear music and yelling until about 5AM on a Saturday night. Cafe and amenities were excellent and it is in a great walkable area near a lot of NYC sights. Room design was very cool and found the bed comfortable. Overall, it felt very trendy and noticed a lot of locals use it for coworking space on weekdays."

"Staff was great. The room had a lot of stains on the walls, dents, loose sockets, the bed felt wobbly. Dust on the counters. Towels had yellow stains. For $275 a night did feel it was worth the money. It was in a good location to transportation. But probably would not stay again."

"We liked the location. It was just far enough off Time Sq to be a bit calmer. We were very disappointed in check in. We arrived around 9:30 am. We could not get into our room until after 5pm. Our daughter arrived around 5:30pm. Her room, which we had requested close to our room, was not even ready then and she had to stay on a different floor. Daily room service was excellent."

"Very good stay. Room was pristine. View was nice and the staff was genuinely pleasant. The casino was also lively given the fact that AC has turned into cesspool of failure. The Ocean resort still gives you that old school AC vibe where it still feels like its busy and bustling. We took the kids and they loved the pool area. Perfect place for families!"
