Location was excellent. The living quarters were fine. But two things made the stay unpleasant : only two elevators for over 30 floors!!! I was on the 9th floor and the average wait time for the elevator was 10-15 minutes.. the day I left, 3/6, one of the elevators was out of order and I waited over 25 minutes with my luggage. In addition, on several occasions service people rode the elevator with dirty mops and various cleaning supplies (whose strong stench permeated the elevator).
The other issue was the valet parking “system.”
Each time I called I was told “No problem, five minutes.” On more than one occasion I waited in vain because the phone operator had called for the wrong car. On most occasions of returning the car the wait was endless, frustrating and unnecessary. You could simply have an assigned spot for each room and have an electronic gate operated by the room key.... or some other resident controlled mechanism.
These two factors ( lack of sufficient elevators and poor parking) sufficiently negate the location and generally good living quarters.
I will seek other locations for my next trip south, and I will dissuade any friends who plan a trip to the Hollywood area from reserving a room from you.
