"I had booked a 2 day stay and taken a king bedroom pool view. The room should have a mini refrigerator as a mandatory requirement as per the property description. However there was none in the room. Also the iron board and iron were missing. The staff was not cooperative. I had to meet them in person as they did not lift the room service phone calls from me. I went over and over again at least 4-5 times to remind them. After so many reminders they sent a person to keep the mini refrigerator on the second day late afternoon. Horrible service. I asked them to change my room on the first day itself but they declined saying all rooms were booked. I am deeply unsatisfied with this kind of service and will not recommend anyone to go. I had some medical issues and needed that mini refrigerator so badly. I request Expedia to intervene and refund my money for the 2 days of very disappointing and health spoiling stay at Catalina hotel and beach club. Thanks Phil"

"Yays - Hotel is clean and well kept. Staff are pleasant and helpful (the ones that understood English). Nays - shower is standing space only. If you are on the heavier side it may not work out. Poor hallway lightings. You cannot regulate room temperature. Breakfast is the same EVERY SINGLE DAY. I stayed at cheaper hotels with iron, bottled water and coffee/tea requisites in every room. This was not avaliable at CitizenM."

"a nice hotel, room had a full kitchen but one night expensive, deposit high $200 plus a lot of fees and taxes can have your room go from three hundred something to almost seven something easily. love the view from stand only balcony, great location close to bayside market place. "
