"Apartment had everything we needed except AC, which was particularly noticeable because it faced the afternoon sun and when we finally could open the windows, the train station and an all hours pizza place were right outside. "We loved our 2 nights here. While we chose the location for its proximity to Lucerne, Sarnen was a delightful surprise. The walking path into town was a fave and we enjoyed exploring. The apartment was well-equipped, including tons of pantry items and our host even offered us produce from his beautiful garden! There was lake access from the garden and we enjoyed a chilly dip in the lake! Host lives at the property and was easy to communicate with. Overall, highly recommend!"
