"View of the ocean is amazing. Very friendly and helpful safe. Room was clean. Loved the enclosed deck for my dog. Pet fee is reasonable. Complimentary breakfast was just right. Large property to walk around with your pet. Very pet friendly. Rooms are a little small but totally doable. Would recommend and go there again. "

"The cabin was perfect for two people. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. Lots of windows giving a different view from each room. Very clean and comfortable. The surrounding landscape was full of spring blooms. The cabin is centrally located to town, parks and a short drive to Fort Bragg. Loved looking out the front and seeing the ocean., very peaceful setting. No surprises., just as pictured in the listing. The host responded quickly and professionally to my emails. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quaint cabin to explore Mendocino."

"We left our food in the take out bag it came in, picked up but not to fill the trash. Some of the food did end up in the trash. Both the trash can and bag of food, as well as the chair and table were completely covered in ants! Kind of a bummer to wake up to at 5:30am!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We like the outdoors and we could walk to the bluffs right from the cottage. We also went to Van Damme State Park, very close by. The cottage and yard are really nice, cozy and comfortable. We would stay here again!"

"It was a mother/daughter working weekend. Perfect location. We were at the JD House, queen guesthouse with a fireplace and were able to park right in front. "Property was as described… Very clean, right across from the ocean with beautiful views! Convenient to all of the shops and restaurants and hikes around the headlands. Beautiful views from within the house, but also deck had a lovely table and chairs. There was a clean and modern kitchen with all conveniences. Communication with owner was prompt and helpful. "
