Very quiet and privacy was great. Communication from the owners leading up to the stay was excellent. Everything you could need, including Breakfast supplies and fresh fruit, even Netflix and other streaming. The spa bath worked well, and the cleanliness was fine. Would recommend staying there anytime.

Sassafrass is a beautiful area. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed. The room was small but very cute and sweet and nice and warm. Lovely sized bathroom and super clean and snug

Magnificent stay.

Pretty happy with the room and amenities. Upon arriving it was hot. The Air con was on which was very pleasant to walk into a cool cottage. I’m sure had it been cold the gas fire would be on. It’s very quiet and peaceful and very relaxing. Highly recommend you visit. We stayed in the Camellia Cottage.

Such a cosy stay for me and my daughter in the Doveton Suite. Extra touches made it lovely, especially the bird seed and feeders outside which attracted a whole host of bird friends. We loved it.

We stayed at the Stables cottage in Clarendon Cottages. I have been staying at the Dandenong Ranges for 20 years but I was extremely impressed with this place. Visually just gorgeous - attention to detail - and every effort made for a comfortable stay. The Stables is a twin bedroom cottage - with beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Our night included breakfast and our own private garden, cupboard with toys and games and even a decanter of port with glasses!! Just wow!! I will not hesitate to rebook here

We enjoyed our stay at Clarendon Cottages ,it was clean comfortable and quiet.The only comment I would make is that you should be aware that there is no sink/running water in the little kitchenette area . This is not to say that it was listed as an inclusion (ie we were not expecting it ) however for premium accommodation it was missed and something that others may want to be aware of prior to booking , especially for multi day stays.

We had a wonderful stay in Dovecote Cottage at Clarendon Cottages. George and Jane reached out to us before our arrival with contactless check in information, and their number should we needed any recommendations or assistance. The cottage has been refurbished beautifully. It was perfectly comfy and cozy. The property itself is also gorgeous. It was very rainy and cold during our stay, but I'm sure guests would enjoy the gardens and feeding the birds (seed is provided!) under less damp circumstances. We enjoyed curling up on the couch in front of the faux fireplace heater to watch a movie, and snuggling under the covers with the electric blanket instead (there is an air conditioner, so warm weather visitors are catered for too). The drink and breakfast provisions were plentiful, with orange juice, milk, tea, coffee pods, hot chocolate pods, marshmallows, cookies, yoghurt, fruit, porridge, cereal, baked beans, a homemade loaf of bread and condiments. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, toaster and microwave, kettle and pod coffee machine. George and Jane have made sure their guest have all they could need and more. Looking forward to another stay at Clarendon Cottages in the future.
