"The hotel itself is not in a very desirable location with hotel having security on site 24/7. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very dated, in need of repair and updates. Our room particularly had a ceiling tile in the bathroom falling down, part of the chain missing to chain the door and stained carpet, with a note stating it had been cleaned and to basically ignore it. The sheet on one of our beds had burn holes in it. The ice machine was broken and you needed to get it from the front desk. This was not told to us upon checkin. While looking for it a security guard came off the elevator on our floor and when I asked him where to find the ice machine he informed me that it was “damaged by a previous…guest” and then proceeded to inform me how busy the night guard had been and asking if I found it loud over night. This did not give me a good feeling about the safety of the building. Needless to say we will not be staying there again if we need to return."

"The rooms were disgusting. There was a cigarette burn on the toilet seat, blood on the ceiling, poop on the walls, and stained sheets with questionable liquids, and the carpet was sticky, could not walk without shoes, socks would stick to floor. Grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. "

"Rental was very well stocked and description was accurate. Beds were comfortable and had clean fresh linens. Wi-Fi access was a bit spotty, but to be expected in northern SK! Little dog run area was perfect for our pups. "

"It was a real treat to be in a little piece of paradise for a few days. Checking in was so easy and the owners were great at communicating when I had questions. The property was so beautiful with so many extra things to enjoy on and off the water. And the hot tub was an absolute bonus! We really didn’t feel the need to go anywhere!"

"Great place to stay! Clean, well stocked kitchen and close to stores and paths to bike to the beach. The house is tucked in to the trees so it stays cool on hot days. Ruby was helpful and responsive, we will be back!"
