The outside space was good and lovely to have the hills around, We did have problems using the very modern microwave/grill and cooker - It needed DETAILED WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS! and we would have preferred an ordinary electric kettle. A corkscrew, too would have been useful! But, we enjoyed a wonderful 2 days」

「The house really makes the most out of its space. Really comfortable and modern yet still cosy. Everything is new, clean and well thought out. Having the downstairs toilet outside is a bonus and also the outhouse with washing machine, drier and freezer - it just frees up so much space. The house instantly feels spacious even though it is quite a small footprint and the garden is beautiful and secure. My parents live in Braithwaite so I know it well and it really does have everything, including...

「This was our second visit to Millside Cottage, the location is ideal , it's dog friendly and you can park your car safely off the road. There are some fabulous walks straight from the door for all abilities from a pleasant stroll to a bagging a string of Wainwrights. The cottage could do with some new furniture as the sofas are worn and somewhat uncomfortable, the front of the house were you park the car had some loose pavers and could do with weeding to give the property the appeal it...
