"While the room was clean, the two mattresses were appalling, seriously worn, slanted, and very squeaky. The shade was broken and water oozed up from the bathroom floor. The bed was pushed up against the heater and the curtains came down just above… total fire hazard. Even the microwave carousel was broken. The Lobby Computerized assistant that spoke with a very strong accent made my hearing impaired husband go bonkers. Just wow"

"Very friendly and helpful staff at reception, rooms look newly refurbished and are very comfy! Loved the Starbucks pods in the rooms. Breakfast was a good range and great to have a selection of fresh fruit too. Didn’t use pool area but it looked well maintained and relaxing. Easy stroll into the old town with plenty of restaurants to choose from! Would definitely recommend and stay there again!"

"Ideal location just south of Redwood parks. About 1 hour drive to Klamath for reference. Very convenient to Trinidad and Arcata for great restaurants. Perfect drive to Prairie Creek Redwood area where a bunch of the nice hikes are. Lots of nearby beaches. Appreciated all the restaurant and hiking recs from the owners! House is excellent set up for family of 6 or similar sized groups. The primary bedroom upstairs with its own bath is great. The upstairs living area with balcony and sunset view of the ocean is fabulous. Great spot to read or drink coffee or for kids to play or conversation. Kitchen is very well stocked. Super clean property. Beautiful plantings/ landscaping. Loved having hose outside to rinse off sandy shoes. Very tasteful decor. Can’t imagine why you’d stay anywhere else. Had two tiny issues during our stay and they were resolved quickly. Overall, the caliber of the property really just felt like we were staying at a friend’s place. Feels like the owners really care about doing this rental house thing really well! Will include pics of plants on the property because I like plants."

"The dome is super roomy! Definitely the most unique stays I’ve been in and made for a memorable experience. Despite no shower, the amenities were nice and the local coffee was an awesome touch. I was nervous about using the composting toilet but the instructions were very clear and it did not take away from the stay at all. The Bed was nice and comfy and as I mentioned first, I loved the spacious interior of the dome!The only issue we had was locating the property at night. We accidentally went nextdoor to the neighbors house but they were very kind in directing us to the correct driveway. Be sure to find the “A” on the address house number!"

"This place was awesome! A very unique comfortable, place to stay. No frills, cozy and all you need. Very relaxing set in the middle of a beautiful Redwood tree Grove. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a restful place to stay while visiting the Redwood parks."
