Raven's Nest: Tranquil Forest Suite 5 min to Downtown Arcata with Redwood Views

Basque in the 360° views of towering redwoods and the bay in the distance, a mere 5 minute drive form Arcata plaza. This gorgeous, peaceful suite sleeps up to 4 guests. Wrapped in windows with natural light pouring in, Raven's Nest is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature.

The space is 900 square feet, attached to a lovely home but securely sectioned off for peace and privacy. It features a kitchenette (not full kitchen) with a mini-fridge, microwave, counter-top oven/toaster, electric kettle, and a Keurig for making coffee (dishes, glasses, basic food prep-ware, coffee and tea supplies included with rental).

The private bedroom had a super cozy memory foam queen bed, and the additional bedroom/living room has very comfortable futon. With amenities like fast WiFi, smart TV, and central heating, guests will feel right at home. The bathroom offers a refreshing shower and a hair dryer for convenience. This unit does share some walls downstairs, so we require and honor "quiet hours" from 9pm-9am.

From this house you can walk 5 minutes to amazing hike/bike trails, drive 5 minutes to downtown Arcata/Cal Poly Humboldt, drive 10 minutes to Arcata Marsh and Humboldt Bay, or 15 minutes to a variety of pristine beaches. Humboldt is all about NATURE: Hike, bike, surf, raft, kayak, paddle board. Finish your active day with excellent restaurants/bars/entertainment downtown.

This property has outdoor security cameras (outward facing only) located at the top of the driveway and on the private back patio of this unit.

This place totally exceeded our expectations! The apartment is so beautiful, nicely furnished and decorated; very comfortable. Great kitchenette with coffee/tea supplies. A beautiful location and clean space

It's in a scenic corner of Arcata and Andrea is responsive and helpful. The kitchenette is downstairs while the only sink is upstairs, but it wasn't a huge inconvenience. Not all windows have shades and there are outdoor lights that stay on all night, so if you're a light sleeper, bring an eye mask.
