「Clean, quiet, and very private retreat in nice neighborhood, just a short distance from downtown Arcata, shops and restaurants. It was perfect as a base to explore the area from Eureka to Trinidad, with lots of opportunities to hike in the redwoods, birdwatch at the famous Arcata Marsh, and stroll/tidepool at the many beaches.」

「It was quiet and cozy. The owners were kind when I spoke with them. As was made clear there isn't AC so it did get a little warm over night in the room, but a few minutes with the door open cooled down quick. I would recommend a fan. However, would stay again.」

「Better than advertised! City? Country? Where am I? Two deer came right by the sliding glass door entrance to greet us shortly after arrival. Conveniently located. Great communication by host. Super clean! Attention to detail really shines through with this one. The best night’s sleep I’ve had on this trip through Northern California.」
