"We were told when checking in on Friday that the pool/hot tub was open. Went to use it Saturday and was told it’s closed. If we would have known, we wouldn’t have booked with them. "

"Nice location. Friendly staff and good hot breakfast. We dined at the adjacent restaurant an a few times and it was very good. We also enjoyed a couple of evenings just having a picnic lunch on the hotel front porch. The two queen mattresses were each a bit springy. My husband and I thought it was a good value for the price and would stay here again."

"The property was as listed-great location on the Main Street of McGregor, close to shops and restaurants. Perfect for hiking in the state parks that surrounded us. Excellent for our girls weekend getaway."

"Our room had a wine refrigerator and it was not cold enough for our food and didn’t have a freezer. The staff brought us another one , then we had both in our room. The breakfast we were expecting was not at all a full breakfast, so we went out to buy food and couldn’t keep it frozen. They said the full breakfast would return during the summer. Staff was very nice and accommodating though. And parking is always good."

"It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. It was so quiet and peaceful out there in the country, yet close enough to town to venture in and take in the sights. Jane was very quick to respond when we reached out to her. We would definitely consider renting this cabin again."
