"Room was clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. It was fairly quiet. A little hwy noise but not disturbing. A little grackle noise but didn't interrupt our sleep. We left at 6 am. Didn't eat bkft. But did walk over to El Conqestador for a nice TexMex supper. "

"Where do I start. If you ever wanted to know what MOTELS were like when your parents traveled in the 70's, just stay here one night and you will know. This is a two story motel with NO elevator! The carpeted stairs can tell some stories I'm sure. The room was very out dated but appeared clean because the new coat of white paint. The bed spread was from your grandmas collection and the mattress protector had various CSI stains. The lighting in the room flickered when you turned it on and the matress was hard. The shower did have good pressure and the lighting in the bathroom was great. This was a last minute stay in this small town as I was driving to Austin from Dallas and was exhausted so it served the purpose of a bed and a shower...but man!! If I had my GF with me....I would be so embarrassed."
