"This very pretty budget option is a hidden gem. The greenery at the property and the warm lighting gives this cosy vibes. Basic amenities like AC, a clean bathroom and a TV were available. "To my shock, when I walked into the Hotel, with my Expedia booking, the Hotel staff told me that they do not accept any Online bookings as they had stopped honoring any online bookings about 3 months back. I then had to call Expedia for a full Refund and then take this hotel via in-person booking, Luckily Room was still available and I was able to check-in after about an hour of delay. They have 2 hotels both exactly the same at 2 locations that's why photos are the same. "The Leela Palace in Chennai is an exceptional hotel. Beautiful setting, attentive staff, clean and fantastic food options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with two young children - Raj from the Butler team was brilliant as well as the chefs Anjan, Bunuma and their teams. The only thing that would have made this even better would have been more things for young children to do eg a games room however they were very content with the beautiful pool "
