「Beautiful view, Awesome service. Staff was very nice and friendly. Food was so nice and delicious. It’s a wonderful place to stay and relax. Howling monkeys came by on morning, so exotic experience. Definitely going back again. Everyone was really nice. You can also swim on lake and experience giving food to fishes. Temascal sauna was also an unforgettable relaxing time.」

「部屋はとても清潔で整っており、周囲からは野生動物の声も聞こえて自然を感じられ、全体的には満足しました。 ただし、森の中という立地のため、Wi-Fiが不安定で、電力の強いドライヤーや洗濯機が使えない点は少し不便でした。洗濯は手洗いで約24時間かかるため、1泊だけの宿泊者はできないと断られました。 また、コンセントはUSB充電ができる箇所が2つのみで、タイプCの充電器が使えず、使用できる時間帯も限られていました。 宿泊前のメールでのやり取りは返信が非常に遅く、質問に対する回答も的を射ていないことが多く、準備に時間がかかって大変でした。 ホテルを通じて手配していただいたガイドさんは、質問には答えてくれるものの、遺跡の説明がほとんどなく、案内役という印象でした。スペイン語でのガイドを希望していましたが、ほとんど英語での説明だったため、理解に苦労しました。 全体的には、自然の中で過ごす静かな時間を楽しめる素敵な場所ですが、サービス面ではもう少し丁寧さや気配りがあると、より快適に滞在できると感じました。」

「Beyond thankful for this place! I am absolutely returning and recommending to others. Why? 1) the location and venue is gorgeous and the amenities for paddleboard and kayak was a plus, the lake has a board to jump off, the coffee was delicious, the beautiful animals that greet you, the food besides being absolute delicious was super healthy and clean and beautiful presentation. 「Wir kamen abends später an und die Unterkunft konnte uns weder etwas zu essen, noch etwas zu trinken zur Verfügung stellen. Wir mussten hungrig ins Bett gehen. Am nächsten Tag war der Strom ausgefallen und wir mussten kalt duschen und konnten keinerlei dringliche Sachen im Internet erledigen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war nicht in Ordnung.」

「We loved out stay at Casa de Don David! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms were comfortable for our visit to Tikal. The food was also delicious. The staff helped us arrange a driver for airport pickup and dropoff as well as transportation to and from Tikal. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!」

「Loved the vibe this property had. My overall stay was pretty good, the food was made fresh to order, the staff were as helpful as possible as my Spanish is extremely limited. The room could have been a bit cleaner but it’s understandable it’s basically out in the forest so perfectly clean wasn’t expected. It was unfortunate the power was out for the majority of my last day stay, I was checking out so I didn’t bother to ask about it. I will say, I’m more than sure I was grossly over charged for...

「I absolutely loved the location of the cabin. The view from the terrace was mesmerizing, a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The lake was just a few steps away from our rooms. The rooms were equipped with AC's but one of the ACs wasn’t working, the kitchen was fully equipped, two full bathrooms but no towels, no wifi, no warm water. Communication with host could've been better as he sent instructions on how to access the property until the "day of" as I was on the phone with customer service....

「I felt so welcomed and taken care of at Taitza. The owners and staff are kind and instrumental in facilitating my time navigating around Flores and Tikal. The property is a fair distance from the island but I was given boat rides to the city to meet my Tikal tour and my plane. Beautiful property, delicious food, highly recommended.」

We arrived in a high-roof van with a roof rack and were able to access the property without any issues. We greatly enjoyed the grilled dinner for 4. The pool was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful!」
