「I dont know how it usually works at hotels in the area, but I arrived at the hotel around 5PM and no one was around. I found a room key and a note and I let myself into the room which was located right by the counter So when people were checking out in the morning, I could hear everything and woke me up. I also stayed at other hotels in the area, and by comparison, the price here was higher. So, I cannot say it was a good experience. Other than that, the room was neat and in the great location.」

「Nice comfortable spacious rooms, conveniently close to highways, but also a short drive to Seabrook beach. Lots of stores and places to eat a short walk, or shorter drive, away (mostly chain restaurants / fast food). Overall a good stop while traveling.」

「Pros: The issue with the air conditioning was addressed fairly quickly, and the on-site handyman did an excellent job. The proximity to Newburyport was also a major plus. Cons: While the room appeared tidy, it wasn’t as clean as expected. 「First of all, if you book this property you're going to get hundreds of messages from the host prior to even going with several forms to fill out and online check-ins to complete and upgrades to buy, etc. We paid $269 for one night plus an extra $50 for a pet plus they then wanted extra money to check in early or check out late or reserve parking because there's only 3 parking spots in the back (for A LOT of rooms). 「This is a gorgeous historic property nearly 100 years old. With this in mind, my remarks are personal issues, not necessarily those of all travelers. I am extremely allergic to mold and mildew and just imagine a 100 year old building. While not visible, there is that “ old” smell that never leaves. 「I loved the room colors and bedding. The rug was very nice, but needed cleaning. I enjoyed swimming in the pool, but that needed cleaning as well. I would stay there again.
