Our stay was wonderful, and we enjoyed perfect summer beach weather.
Condo-style cottages. Main floor was flanked on either end with a patio w/table & 4 chairs. Open floor plan with soothing cross-breeze, fully-applianced eat-in kitchen (w/table for 4), 1/2 bath & living room w/seating for 4, TV w/xfinity service & several apps. Cape Cod beach/ocean theme throughout. Upstairs a stacked washer/dryer were smartly hidden and a full bath split 2 dormered BRs.
1 BR had a queen bed & the other had 2 twin beds, the wi-fi/internet router, and a 'portable' A/C unit that was able to keep the air cool but more importantly was effective in mitigating the oceanside humidity to allow for comfortable sleeping. A floor stand fan was available to share the cool air between bedrooms. Clothing storage was very limited. Each bedroom had an adjoining balcony but the balcony was inaccessible from the room with the AC because the exhaust ductwork was secured through the sliding door.
The walk to the beach was very convenient (less than 300 steps from door to sand), but be prepared to navigate a solid staircase down the bluff w/ seating at the top and halfway down for those who might need a rest. The private beach was clean w/plenty of open sand & late July water was upper 70's. Market Square was a 1 mile walk/2min drive and offered great seafood, coffee/bakery, ice cream, pizza, candy, groceries, clothing/gifts & live music. Popponesset Inn also nearby offers upscale waterfront dining.
