A luxurious cabin quietly tucked away in the woods, pet friendly, WiFi

Buck Haven features two king bedrooms with plush bedding. Custom hickory cabinets, hickory floors and custom American made cedar log furniture decorate the cabin. You can relax on the comfortable Lazy Boy furniture in the great room and enjoy the stunning floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace. The main floor bathroom includes a large jetted tub and a walk in shower. . The kitchen has granite counter tops, GE Slate HE appliances and is stocked with everything you will need to fix a delicious gourmet meal. You can grill outdoors in any weather on the covered porch.

The cabin is 1250 square feet, wheelchair accessible with a concrete pad and ramp to the porch. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 and ½ half baths, sleeps up to 6 and is furnished with everything you need for an enjoyable stay including Dish Network and Frontier Wi-Fi Internet. The Wi-Fi is steady but not super fast.

Bath stool, vacuum suction cup holder for the hand-held shower wand and elevated toilet seat available on request.

We also have a one bedroom cabin within walking distance from Buck Haven. That listing is the Dove's Nest VRBO 1294802. Both properties are thoughtfully situated for privacy yet close enough for friends and family to rent and have a great time together.

Relaxing, peaceful cabin

We enjoyed our time at Buck Haven. The house was well stocked with all the amenities you could want. Our host was very welcoming and kept us updated with everything we needed to know. We will definitely be coming back.

Celebrated our Anniversary

Starting from booking to the day we departed, the experience was fantastic! It was our second time at this cabin. It is so clean, well stocked and peaceful. We really needed the rest and this was perfect.

Amazing Cabin

We have stayed in other cabins over the years and this one is definitely at the top of the list for being the best. It was so neat, clean, and well organized. We were able to unpack our things and begin to relax immediately. Janie was great to work with and gave us good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. This is definitely a little jem for sure.

Heaven on Earth!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the cozy touches that made it feel like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful surroundings, stunning views, and attention to detail throughout the property.Every amenity we could have hoped for was provided—from a fully stocked kitchen to extra comfy beds, soft linens, and even board games for rainy days. The outdoor area was a dream: the deck is a perfect spot for morning coffee, and we enjoyed many meals outside. The beautiful deck furniture and swing were perfect for soaking in the natural beauty. We really enjoyed the tall trees off the back of the cabin; it felt like we were in a treehouse.It’s clear that the host puts a lot of love and care into this place. Communication was seamless, check-in was a breeze, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Thank you, Janie!We’re already planning our next visit. This time we brought our parents!

This was my family’s second stay at beautiful Buck Haven. When we returned from our first time there, my husband told his parents how amazing our experience was. They couldn’t wait to plan a trip there based on our glowing recommendation. Well, as soon as his parents pulled up to the cabin they were blown away. They loved the lay-out of the cabin and how clean and well-stocked it was. It’s very easy to make wonderful memories at Buck Haven. I’m so glad my husband, children and I were able to make more with my in-laws.

The Perfect Long Weekend!

My wife and I wanted to get away for a long weekend to celebrate our Anniversary and this cabin appeared to be a great choice. We had no idea how perfect it would be. The cabin is beautifully decorated and stocked with absolutely everything you need. The manager was very responsive when coordinating our arrival, stay and departure. We love the outdoors and went on several hikes at Cacapon State Park just a couple miles away. While we were there it snowed over night Friday and all day Saturday. We hiked up a fire road at the cabin while it was snowing. The beautiful snow views through the windows, cable TV, internet and a puzzle provided a wonderful relaxing day. The owner plowed the 6”-8” of snow in the morning. We might have stayed a couple more days if it weren’t for that inconvenience called “work”. Thank you Janie and Cy for a perfect weekend! Could not have enjoyed ourselves any better!

What a relaxing vacation! It's a gorgeous property set atop a hill in the forest and very private. The house itself is well-appointed and extremely comfortable, complete with handmade furniture throughout. The surrounding area is fantastic to explore, especially Capacon Park. Both Janie and Cy are wonderful people. Will definitely recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful stay.

Little piece of heaven

My wife and I both work many hours and we were looking for a place to unplug from the hustle. We wanted to unwind with our two dogs and enjoy some peace and quit. The cabin did not disappoint. We found ourselves whispering to each other outside because of how quit it was. The location was absolutely perfect. Many trails close by along with some state parks. The cabin was absolutely immaculate with its cleanliness as well as the wonderful amenities.check in was a breeze and uneventful. I highly recommend this wonderful property if you want to get away from the day to day grind.

Perfect Winter Retreat

Buck Haven was the most organized, well stocked rental we have experienced in our 20 years of travel. Cooking at the cabin is a breeze! The property manager was available by text and ensured we transitioned smoothly in and out of the cabin - she even made sure we had fruit/coffee/and fresh farm eggs. Our pup came with us and enjoyed long walks down the driveway and the seclusion of the cabin. A cozy dog blanket was even provided for him! The cabin was very clean, spacious, and we are already planning to come back with friends to rent Buck Haven and the only other nearby property, Dove's Nest. These properties couldn't be better maintained. Beautiful, authentic cabin stay with modern amenities!

Christmas week

This cabin is amazing! Beautiful wood, stone fireplace, soaring ceilings and windows, with beautiful craftsmanship. Fully appointed with so many special touches ... fruit bowl, fresh eggs, numerous spices, Kcups, and complimentary toiletries. The wraparound, covered deck was such a peaceful, quiet place that the dog and I didnt want to go inside! I highly recommend!

Relaxing weekend getaway

Buck Haven is spectacular! It exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is well organized, stocked and spotless. Janie is super responsive and accommodating. We felt so welcome with the sweet note and treats (even for our four-legged friend) upon arrival. The cabin is nestled in the woods just outside of town providing just the seclusion and quiet space we were looking for. The home itself does not disappoint either. It has that “wow factor” upon entering. Curl up with a good book and your furry friend infront of the fireplace, or relax on the porch swing, or buy the campfire! Every option is perfect.

Perfect get away

We had a wonderful weekend at Buck Haven. Janie and Cy, the hosts have thought of everything to make for a perfect weekend stay. The cabin is so comfortable and the views are amazing. We love sitting out on the deck and enjoying the scenery. Check in and out is very easy and they were very flexible. This was the second time we have stayed there and we hope to be able to do it again next year.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

This is a beautiful cabin that is very private but still just a short drive to Berkeley Springs . It was immaculate, very organized and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. The host, Janie was great and quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely rent again if we return to Berkeley Spri gs.
