"Host Christiana was amazing; welcoming us with wine and making us feel like family in her home. She provided train/bus tickets, helped with reservations for places to eat, and gave local advise such as for wine festivals. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. She responded quickly to our questions and needs. The house is next to the Moselle river in the western German wine region, and it let us view the river traffic in leisure from the sun room. It was our refuge after spending each day touring castles, tasting different foods/wines/beers, and exploring the many nearby towns. We enjoyed the short day river cruises. Private parking was a plus. Has a good assortment of kitchen dishes/cookware/appliances for cooking, and comfy seating to relax. Has a foosball table in the sun room. House would work well for families or traveling groups. We will return in the future."

"Great unique small hotel in Zeltingen, the hotel is acutally a series of small guest houses with mutiple rooms in each. Our room was very large with a separate couch sitting area. The restaurange was great and the breakfast was one of the best we have had. Fresh fruit, vegetables, cheeses, and the bread was out of this world. If you are going to visit the Mosel for visiting wineries, stay here in Zeltigen instead of the busier Bernkastel-Kaus. Parking is tight but the town has parking at the river that doesn't cost anything as long as you can move your car by 8am and don't park before 6pm."
