「Nous y sommes allés une grande famille et les espaces sont super bien aménagés pour 12 personnes. Les photos sont réalistes et les aménagements propres. L’entretien de la piscine est fait régulièrement et nous avons eu de l’aide pour le menage de la part d’une employée de la maison. Parcontre la plage et le marché sont trop loin a pieds avec de jeunes enfants il faut absolument un véhicule.」

「The hammocks were so relaxing with all the nature sounds and birds singing. There were even howler monkeys and scarlett macaws in the yard. The walk to the beach was absolutely gorgeous and the beach was even more stunning. This was all around such a great stay. Can’t say enough nice things.」

It is nice, safe, secure, has most all of the basic necessities and my hosts were kind and helpful when I had questions or needed anything. It was close to a busy street and restaurants so there was a lot of noise at times. It was right on the main road yet near the end of it so you can walk to get to all the shops and restuarants.」

「Roger and his wife Pat were amazing hosts. They were extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. Their house is located right on the beach and just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Tamarindo (but still within walking distance). I highly recommend staying here!!」

The biggest challenge was finding the house the first night as we were driving in the dark from Liberia airport and unfamiliar with the area. 「I had a nice stay at occidental however I feel the resort should update the lighting on the resort. At nite it’s pretty dark. And they need to have make sure your rooms are stocked with wash clothes. I went several days begging for wash clothes. I had to use the hand towels to bathe. And thank god one of my friends from the trip gave me one because she had multiple. And they also need to have options to eat after 10pm. 」
