Makai Hideaway 600ft from Ocean Giant Deck
Gameroom/10 day special in Fall
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was wonderful and the host was the best. Good tips for traveling and finding things in the island. Had every amenity at the house you could think of."
"This was a lovely place to stay for our family of six (kids ranging 9-16). It is not new, but it has a lovely homey feel and was clean. We put two kids in bunk beds, one on the couch, and another on the living room bed. The living room space was comfortable for watching movies together and the dining room/lanai accommodated us well for meals. We appreciated that the location was a bit cooler (no AC needed) and secluded, making it worth the slightly longer drive to local beaches. I really appreciated that there were a variety of stocked pantry items that minimized the condiments/spices/etc that we needed to buy in town. The hosts were very kind and welcoming to both us and our children."
INCREDIBLE VIEW!! 5 BEDROOM HOME WITH PRIVATE POOL OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN!
10/10 Excellent
"House is very nice. Lots of room. Beautiful sunset view from the top deck. Neighbors are friendly. No air conditioning, but the house has nice ceiling fans. The owner gave wonderful suggestions on places to go."
"An incredible place! It was a cloudy night, but had it been clear, it would have been a stunning spot to watch the sunset. Of our 4 VRBO’s on our trip, this was our favourite!"
RELAXING, Away-from-it-All home on the water with small Natural Pool
10/10 Excellent
"Carl and Deb are amazing hosts! They're very open with communication and the check-in process was seamless! The pictures they share do not compare to the actual home and scenery! This was truly a home away from home for us. The kitchen was definitely made for staying in for amazing evening meals with a picturesque back drop! The walk-out allowed us to watch sea life from above.... from reef fish to dolphins swimming by in the morning! Mahalo C&D for everything! We will be back!!"
"I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Views are amazing!!! Location is private. House was immaculate. Kitchen had everything you need if you want to cook meals. You do need to plan your trips. It is an hour drive to get into Kona. About 40 minutes to Captain Cook"
