9.4/10 Exceptional! (1,598 reviews)
This place was amazing! Good sized rooms, modern and clean decor, comfy beds, great views if you can get a room on the upper floors, nice pool and fitness centre and perfectly located in a nice part of downtown off of st Catherine’s street. Everything was really perfect and the host front desk went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and well set up.

9/10 Wonderful! (5,386 reviews)
My recent stay at Hotel Bonaventure was less than optimal.
The housekeeping staff don't clear away dirty dishes promptly. There were constantly plates of half-eaten food sitting out in the walkways forever. Not a great look.
The whole place feels insanely claustrophobic. The central area is super narrow and cramped, making it feel like they pack in way more people than the property can actually hold. And the pool and hot tub were completely slammed the entire time—forget trying to relax.
I hate buffets because I don’t like to overeat, so I ordered an à la carte breakfast of scrambled eggs and meat. Instead of making it fresh, the waiter literally just scooped food out of the buffet trays and put it on my plate. $23 for pre-made buffet leftovers.
Sure inflation, whatever.
Oh, and the next day I ordered a cup of milk for my kid and it was $4.80. You bet I made sure he drank every single drop of that liquid gold.
Parking is shared with the rest of Place Bonaventure, and if you happen to have an EV don't trust the charging at this location. There are 4 Level 2 chargers (always occupied), so the rate of charging is insanely slow. My car got from 55 to 63% on an overnight charge :)
TL;DR: Cramped common areas, dirty dishes in the walkways, and ridiculously overpriced, substandard food. There are way better hotels in the area—don't bother with this one.
