This newly built home is located in Weare, a classic New England small town, that is private but also conveniently placed a 15 minute drive away from Manchester and an hour drive away from Boston. The property includes a 10+ acre wooded lot, adjacent to several hundred acres of town conservation forest. This home is completely invisible from the outside street, and is distanced from only three neighbors around the lake, making it the ideal place for a private retreat or getaway.
Your stay will be complete with High Speed Comcast Internet, top notch Central A/C for the summer time, and an energy-efficient heating system for the winter time! The house is equipped with a full-house automatic electric generator in case of emergency. Only a 10 minute drive away, the gorgeous, clean LAKE HORACE has a beach and a boat ramp and is the perfect place for fishing and water recreation! Only four miles away you can visit the CLOUGH STATE PARK which includes the stunning 150-acre EVERETT LAKE, a 900-foot sandy beach, playing fields, and a large picnic area. Activities in the park include swimming, hiking, fishing, picnicking and non-motorized boating!
Also with a 15 minute commute, you'll find PAT'S PEAK: a popular alpine ski area with various trails, terrain parks, and snow tubing! For longer ski trails, a half an hour drive away is MOUNT SUNAPEE STATE PARK with breathtaking views all year round while you hike, ski, or snowboard! Both mountains are incredibly well taken care of by friendly, helpful staff!
Within Mount Sunapee State Park is LAKE SUNAPEE -- another very popular water destination complete with multiple beaches! Here you can visit any of the five lighthouses or the quaint Harbor with restaurants and a country store. You can climb onto boats that will take you for a full tour of the lake, launch your own boat, or go fishing! The lifeguards in the public areas make Lake Sunapee the perfect place for safety while canoeing and kayaking.
For serious chefs or healthy foodies, you will have full cast ions, copper, glass or stainless steel cookware and bakeware if this matters to you. (No Teflon nonstick cookwares).
Hope you will enjoy your stay and experience here.

This house was perfect for a family vacation. In the weeks leading up to our stay I emailed Frank a few times with questions regarding adding guests, bringing pets, etc, and each time I received a quick reply approving my request. The property was very quiet and provided complete privacy. The house was beautiful, with enough space so we never felt crowded. The most popular features for our group were the pizza oven, dock, and huge deck. I highly recommend this house for a large group.

The place is exactly as advertised, modern, clean, and very spacious. My husband and I went with 4 other couples and had a great time. The house had everything we needed from utensils to entertainment.
Frank was a great host showing us around when we arrived and available via phone when needed. Definitely would stay at this home again!

The owner met us there and gave us a tour of the entire place and how to use everything. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need. He even took my boys to the dock and explained all the water stuff to them. Communication was great!

We used this house as a base for a for a week long Mother-Daughter-Granddaughter get together. The large kitchen (actually 2 of them) and gathering rooms were perfect for entertaining as well as the huge deck. We had a cook-out one day and had around 22 people popping in and out. There was plenty of parking, and it was nice that we put two cars in the garage. The weather was a bit cool, so we only got to use the peddle boat once - and didn't use the kayaks, but the pond was beautiful - and the view from the deck was awesome. Frank (host) was very friendly and gave a tour of the house upon our arrival. Highly recommend this house.

We recently stayed at this property for Thanksgiving with nine adults, two children, and two well-behaved dogs, and had a memorable experience overall.
The home is set in a stunning location with a beautiful yard, lake, and deck space that we thoroughly enjoyed. Outdoor highlights included making s’mores over the solo fire pit and using the pizza oven. Inside, the two kitchens were impressively stocked with cookware, appliances (including two coffee makers and an espresso machine), and essentials, making it easy to prepare our Thanksgiving feast using the three stoves. We also appreciated thoughtful touches like the mini crib for our 7-month-old and a baby bath for the tub, which made traveling with a little one much easier.
Communication with the hosts was exceptional—always prompt and friendly. Check-in was unusual, as there were no instructions, but one of the hosts gave us a helpful private tour.
While the property was generally clean, some areas needed more attention, and the abundance of personal items made it feel less like a vacation rental. Clearer checkout instructions would also be helpful, as we were unsure what was expected beyond leaving things tidy.
Overall, this home worked well for our family gathering, offering beautiful amenities and a great location. With a bit more polish, it could easily be a five-star experience. Thank you to the hosts for sharing your lovely property!

Frank’s property was perfect for our large family gathering for our sister’s wedding. Each space provides exactly what we needed. The in law suit was a nice quiet area and we loved the large kitchen for meals.
The kids enjoyed the pond and exploring the area.
Frank has great communication and his friend Dennis was very helpful with check in as well.
Thank you Frank for sharing your gorgeous home with us!!

This home is beautiful and stock with nice amenities. We had all of our adult children and their spouses with us and everyone was able to have a queen bed or larger. The water access gave a nice variety to our activities and the ping-pong table offered some friendly competition throughout the week. Frank was very responsive and helpful. Loved our time in New Hampshire.

We stayed at the house for a week in July, and it was easily the nicest house we ever rented. Everything is new and clean, and the house is huge - plenty of room for two families with kids ages 1-14. We didn't love the location - the body of water is more of a pond, which is small and not really swimmable, and to get anywhere from the house is at least a 20 min drive. But overall, we enjoyed our stay - we played ping-pong and badminton, kayaked in the pond, cooked in the lovely kitchen and hung out on the gorgeous huge deck.

We stayed at this property last minute while work was done on our house. Pets were allowed, which was a requirement. The overall home had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was left behind water bottle in the loft, hair in the corners, spots on the bathroom faucets, and food spills on the main floor. I mopped the entire first floor after arriving because I had an infant that would be crawling around on obviously dirty floors. The owner stated after arriving that it had only gotten a light cleaning, which I can only assume meant they changed the sheets and wiped the kitchen counters. The dishwasher in the main house wasn't functional, so instead of using the other dishwasher we just washed by hand. A working dishwasher isn't a requirement, however the high price of this rental certainly instilled that there would be greater attention to detail, which there was not. During the first few days it was cold and raining, so we didn't spend any time outdoors. But the first time it was sunny and 65 we went out on the large porch and my 7 year old landed four huge splinters from the unfinished deck that required a trip to urgent care in Goffstown to be cut out. Upon further inspection it was clear there were raised nails everywhere, rough lumber, and even loose nails that my infant located between the boards. The home still appears to be partly under construction, with stacked lumber under the deck. After our child was injured we didn't utilize the deck further. A note on the beaver pond- we couldn't take our pets for outings near the water as beavers are known to carry diseases that dogs can catch such as parvo. Beavers can also be territorial and have been known to drown a dog swimming too close. The land itself is quite steep, and although you can't see them there is a close property where 4 wheelers and dirt bikes are run during the day. This is just to illustrate that this is not a quiet, peaceful location. Its got a lot of beds and on demand hot water, so you can certainly host a party. However I wouldn't recommend it for children or pets. I will also note that mice are clearly heard running in the ceiling over the main bedroom so it makes it hard to sleep. The light switches are very difficult to operate having special sequencing for dimming that will take you several minutes to figure out, and the bedside lights never turn off. They maintain a constant glow, so a light sleeper, such as myself, will be very uncomfortable.

Perfect location for my son’s wedding at LaBelle Winery in Amherst. Had multiple people coming and going throughout the five days and there was space for all. Have never had a vacation rental with so many cooking amenities which made entertaining a breeze. Highly recommend this home!

This is a luxury log cabin with a main section and a mother in law suite. The main kitchen has a gas and electric stove side by side. This was the best stocked kitchen we have ever rented. Numerous plates, utensils and more counter top devices than you can imagine. We loved our five night stay and highly recommend this VRBO rental.

Our vacation to Weare was everything we could ask for, Frank and Dennis were great hosts, the house was very spacious, well equipped with everything you could ask for or need. The house is beautiful and very large! It fit a group of us with ease! They even had an awesome sound system around the house to listen to music during the day while sitting on the porch enjoying time with our friends with a view of the lake. The house had everything we could need and Dennis/Frank where only a text or call away if we needed anything. I would 100% recommend this stay!!
