"We wanted to relax and this cottage was perfect. The beach is 30 seconds walk, the view is breathtaking. We relaxed, played games, read, talked around the open fire, swam, walked and just chilled. Down a winding little road near an inconspicuous town, you may be fortunate and find “The Silver Strand”. It’s a lesser know but wonderful Irish beach in C.O Donegal. Surrounded by small-ish, green cliffs covered in the sheep’s trodden pathways, it is a great place to swim, or take photos. If only it was the #golden strand, it would be a perfect entry.
