"We had a wonderful stay at Maleme Mare, right from the friendly welcome. The staff were friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean and well maintained throughout, including the pool and gardens. No issue with sun-beds either, there are plenty to go round. The food was really great. Plenty of variety at every meal time. Overall we had a super relaxing week and felt we were being taken care of at all times. We will definitely be back"

"Hotel staff were excellent in particular customer relations who organised a special cake for a seven year olds birthday and were always on hand to help. A free room upgrade and good selection of food on offer all day. Would recommend and would stay here again."

"We stayed in this villa for a week and it was just perfect. The layout with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs seemed odd but in fact was ideal as it meant you could come indoors from the pool or a day at the beach, go straight to the bathroom and bedroom to shower etc without trailing upstairs. The balcony off the living room had wonderful views. There is a highway that passes but it's not too close and we didn't really notice the traffic noise. The outside area was clean and tidy with very new looking loungers and sun umbrellas. In addition it felt very safe with the lockable gate at the entrance. In all a perfect villa and host that exceeded our expectations. I'd say a car was probably necessary as it was about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main road which is partly unlit. "

"The villa was everything we hoped it would be and became a home from home. We enjoyed all aspects especially the pool, the bbq, and the balcony area. Treasured memories of our time there. Having a car was a must for us with elderly family members and allowed us to explore local and other locations. We would have preferred a closer taverna or two but didn't spoil our experience. "We were 3 families staying at Caretta Beach Hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is just steps away from the beach, extremely well maintained and unbelievably clean. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere this spotless! Housekeeping did an excellent job. The location was also perfect, a great home base for day trips to Elafonisi Beach and Balos. The staff’s kindness really stood out throughout our visit. Adonis at the restaurant was so friendly and made us feel welcome every day. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to! Lea and Katerina at the restaurant always greeted us with a smile and Maria at the bar was so kind. The hotel manager, Yianni, was very helpful and gave us fantastic local tips that made exploring the area so much easier. Everything about our stay was perfect. We felt right at home.
