Location wise, it can’t be any better but the condition of the room and bathroom is rather old. The overall cleanliness can be improved. There were signs that the showering area wasn’t exactly scrubbed down after each guest leaves.

Pleasant stay

This has been our go-to hotel for Malacca. We like the location near Jonkers and the room quality has been reasonably consistent over the years and pricing is ok. Breakfast quality is basic. The coffee was somewhat weak. There is an egg station and some western and asian dishes.

This old home with its history and antique period furnishings is very well managed. Staff always available to help. Breakfast provided was good variety buffet of local and Continental items. The history lesson both in and of the house and Melaka was worth the stay. Air conditioned rooms and comfortable beds. Easy walk to historical areas of Melaka.

Beautiful hotel with lots of cultural heritage set in middle of historic center of Malacca. Everything is walkable within 20 minutes. Room is clean and modern, staff attentive and friendly, and with excellent onsite services. A real gem!
