Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Tower Waikoloa Village
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Tower Waikoloa Village. We stayed on the 8th floor of the Ocean Tower, and our room had a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. The view was honestly one of our favorite parts of the stay, especially in the mornings. The resort was beautiful, relaxing, and well-maintained. It was a great place to stay and enjoy the scenery while also having a convenient location to explore the Big Island. One thing I would recommend is adding breakfast when you make your booking if you plan on eating there. We added it after we arrived, and it was $10 more, so it’s better to include it ahead of time. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our time here. We would definitely come back!"
Mauna Lani, Auberge Collection

"Exceptional facility. Would go back in a heartbeat."

Hilton Waikoloa Village
10/10 Excellent
"Truly a resort that you never have to leave. Has lots of dining and shopping options. Nice variety of pools. Very well maintained. The resort is BIG. 60 plus acres with 3 different rooming "towers". Dolphin Quest is especially interesting."
3 Story House - Sleeps 16+ Whole House - steps to the Beach-Shore!
10/10 Excellent
"Our party included an extended family of 13 ranging from grandparents to grandkids. The house was a perfect fit with Hawaii style and comforts. We happen to be there when Hurricane LaLa was approaching and the host and his onsite overseer were proactive in communication. When the power went out that communication and care continued. If you’re going to be stuck due to bad weather, power outages, and closed state beaches, you can’t beat Puako. So many places to access snorkeling and sunsets. The house is a great location to discover Waikola, Kohala, and Kona. All in all, we’re grateful to our hosts for making sure we could enjoy the house safely and comfortably the whole time."
The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"An absolutely beautiful property. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only challenge was finding enough child friendly food options, as the property is quite isolated and no restaurants offer delivery there. There are only so many times you can eat the same food at the same restaurant with kids."
Fairmont Orchid
8/10 Good
"The staff, food and view were incredible. The room could be cleaner we were upgraded to a suite for an extra cost and the sink knobs were rusted, the tub was growing mold in small areas and glass doors and closer mirror doors were not clean. We stayed for 5 nights and used the dining table often it was never cleaned the entire time we were there. We also encounter large cockroaches at the gift shop and near the room. Made staff aware right before checking out and their response was thank you we will pass it on to management,"
PUAKO 1940's Vintage Beach Cottage - Now with Air Conditioning
10/10 Excellent
"This cottage is a wonderful home base for a stay on the Big Island. It truly has all the comforts of home, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, 3 separate AC units that do a great job keeping the place cool and comfortable, plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, etc. Relax on a chaise lounge on the front deck amidst lush tropical vegetation and watch the local wildlife go by - we saw everything from giant wild turkeys to tiny green geckos. We are scuba divers, and Puako Beach Road has multiple amazing shore dive sites within a minute or two of the cottage. The General Store has tanks, weights, and anything else you need for diving —- plus delicious cookies and all kinds of other treats. The cottage’s outdoor shower makes it so easy and convenient to rinse off dive equipment and beach gear at the end of the day. Then stroll 2 houses down to the nearest shore access to watch the sunset over the water! The owner lives on the property and is very helpful if you need anything - otherwise you’d never know he’s there. But be sure to ask him about Radiant!"
Serene PUAKO BEACHFRONT estate. Large Courtyard Pool. All 4 Oceanview Bedrooms
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property. Generously sized rooms. Fabulous view with turtles in front of our house daily. Nice kitchen. Great indoor/outdoor showers. Tasteful decor. Attentive house manager. Great recommendation for a personal chef who came to the house twice to cook dinner for our family. Clearly the home was designed by a pro. Never missed having a/c for even a second."
