"Con: Water is not drinkable. Many families with small children - this can be a con or pro depending. Pro: Staff are nice and the property is beautiful. The food is excellent. There is a decent gym and an adults only pool (although I am unclear on the cutoff for this pool - 13 years old?). Overall, nice property and I would stay again."

Hotel was fantastic, especially made our 30th wedding anniversary a special night by decorating our table and making it a memorable evening and fantastic service by Toula and Vassilis ♥️ Food was superb including a large selection for breakfast."

"We love the royal blue. It’s our third visit to this resort and it doesn’t disappoint. This sister hotel next door royal senses is also great and has water slides which is fun for the family. The beach is also really lovely and great for snorkelling and swimming."

As an example, the person on reception who checked us in remembered our room number a week later at check out! The spa is also fantastic and even offers hairdressing services. Simply wow. If you’re visiting Crete, don’t miss the chance to stay at OROS. An unforgettable experience!"

"Hotel easy to find, next to large supermarket on a main road, a mile from the cross island route. Some parking, 3 allocated spaces and then on street parking nearby Has a lift but some stairs involved for most rooms. Room was a 2 room apartment with a large lounge/kitchen area, with a large Smart TV, oven, hob and fridge. Balcony off each room, large shower room, and plenty of storage space. Complimentary breakfast was good. Pool area limited, not enough sunbeds and begins to lose sun from about 3pm. Staff were pleasant and helpful. 100yds from the massive beach and its safe promenade full of bars and restaurants leading to town, about a mile away. The main road option I would avoid on foot, parked cars and busy junctions."
