The pool was nice, but the decking around it needs repair and was bit of a shock when the sprinklers came on as we were lying on Sunbeds! The spa looked lovely but we decided against it when told you could only enter if wearing a swimming cap - sort of kills the relaxed vibe! Staff were nice, limited food...

"Absolutely superb place for a stay. Spent a week there relaxing and doing walks in the area. The house had great views and very friendly staff doing their utmost to provide excellent service. Great breakfast and conveniently located for excursions to Porto or the Douro valley. "
