"This motel is extremely rustic -- log walls, low ceilings, no insulation. The exterior maintenance is not great. The room I had was very small (just a little bigger than the queen bed) and had no heat. Staff brought me a space heater on request. The bathroom is about the same size as an airplane restroom. The curtains were ragged and difficult to open and close and weren't even the same length from left to right. This was one of the most "spare" motels I've ever stayed in, and the price should have been about $90 per night (it was $159). There are few options in Ennis and I chose this as having an attached restaurant and better ratings than the competition."

"Cute, very clean and well appointed! Walking distance to grocery store, restaurants and local shopping.Hosts were kind, responsive and generously flexible with check out…Unfortunately, the neighborhood was a little sketchy but with that said we had no concerns about our safety…some homes and yards were simply unkept and somewhat junky.No question, we would stay again without hesitation!"

"I couldn’t wait to write this review because my experience was so wonderful. My husband and I are huge fly fishing anglers and chose Ennis for our honeymoon because of its access to dozens of incredible fisheries including The Madison.Rachel was a spectacular host who answered our questions quickly and with helpful information. She had flowers and local chocolates and candies waiting for us upon check in, which included a thoughtful card wishing us all the best as newlyweds. That alone set this rental apart. However, the wonderful hospitality did not stop there.We travel quite frequently to fish and visit our niece and nephews and have never stayed in a place with better bedding, sheets, and towels. It’s clear that Rachel doesn’t cut corners when it comes to her guests’ comfort. From the plush bath sheets for drying off to the good quality toilet paper and from the comfortable couch to the excellent appliances, Rachel appears to treat her guests like her own family, maybe even better!We can’t thank you enough for the lovely stay. It was so nice to know that after spending a whole day fishing that we had a comfortable place to stay so close to town and local restaurants as well as fishing spots."

"Our stay was absolutely amazing! The property was so clean and welcoming! It was very spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. I loved having a washer and dryer. This place was centrally located to many activities, we had a wonderful day in Yellowstone and enjoyed some of the local attractions in Virginia City and Ennis. It was also a short 5 minute walk to downtown Ennis. We would definitely stay here again!"
