The property was clean and had what we needed for our week long stay. The only thing we wish is that there would have been a door for the lower level room, but it wasn't a deal breaker. If you are visiting in the winter make sure to bring some salt with you since the parking lot was very icy.

New Years Getaway

The Owl's Nest was top notch! Our other hotel canceled the morning we were scheduled to leave so this was a last minute booking. Knowing what we know now, we should have started here! The location was absolutely perfect! We were right across the street from where we booked our snowmobile rentals, a couple of blocks from the Brewery and the restaurant we had reservations at for New Years, and just a few more blocks from some amazing cross country skiing. Everything was walkable which made for a great couple of days! The beds were very comfortable and the rental was clean. We were able to host a family of six very comfortably!

This is a great property to stay at if you are spending a couple of nights. Kitchen was great, Cooked a couple of simple meals. Couple of negatives., the steep stairs and the laundry dryer's air filter was awfully dirty. I don't just mean the lint was not removed. The mesh in the filter is black from dirt and should be was out with soap and water to make it look clean. But overall we would recommend to others.
