Really enjoyed this unique urban getaway. Loved the ambience and the cleanliness of the facility. It was also extremely easy to communicate with management when needed, who were very gracious in helping us make particular arrangements for our stay. Would definitely return!
Location was wonderful and close to so many wonderdul shops including state street and Overture Center. Traffic was hard to get use to at night but thats coming from a country girl.
Second time staying here. Love to neighborhood. Easy to walk to restaurants bars shopping. View of the lake is beautiful. Can’t wait for warm weather to enjoy to 3rd floor patio!
This was a perfect location walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and bars in the capitol district. We came for a football game and was a quick ride over to tailgate. The host was very responsive to all of our needs.
We enjoyed our stay at the Saddlery! The 2 bedroom suite was beautiful with plenty of room to relax. The building has a lovely exterior deck to sit and enjoy the view of Lake Monona. The location is great- a short walk to the capitol and its surrounding attractions. We would definitely stay there again!
Great location, clean, easy/walkable access to downtown Madison. Responsive property manager. We loved the historic building, amenities and views from the roof top patio.
Comfortable beautiful apt very close to the Capital and everything on the isthmus so endless fun things to do and we did not bother to rent a car, all walkable.
Property Manager Sam extremely friendly and helpful also.
Great location and cool place to stay. Beautiful views from the bedrooms. Everything needed was provided. I appreciate the pet friendly, but our first night a dog (perhaps next door or below) barked many hrs straight and was so loud it sounded like it was in the unit with us. Had it continued, the stay would have been ruined. Thank goodness it was just the one night and the other 2 nights were quiet and enjoyable. Overall, we would stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
A nice place, maybe better for those looking for night-life
Good things first- someone has obviously put a lot of thought into converting this loft space into chic apartments. Very modern, very clean, maybe a little sterile but makes sense for long term rentals. The beds were soft, linens were nice. The location is great if you want to be downtown- we had an excellent dinner at The Mediterranean Joint and unique ice cream at Good News Cafe. Gym facilities and laundry were both great. There were plates and dishes but a weird sign saying they hadn’t been sanitized and recommending bleaching them- however no bleach was provided. That just made me feel like the dishes were dirty? The biggest problem is the lack of sound proofing. The room above ours had a dog who had barkingjags from 7:20-11:00 pm. He would start and then stop, and then start. At 11 the owner came home and you could hear every clack of her heels on the floor, her delighted greeting of the dog. Then intermittent echoing thumps as the dog dropped his bone (?) on the floor (that’s what it sounded like). I almost fell asleep by midnight when a train went by and blew its horn for two minutes straight. Needless to say, this was not the most restful night. In terms of communication, the listing says “parking available” but only the day before you arrive do they tell you it’s an extra 29 a day. Also, you will get about 8 texts and emails prior to checkin. There is no one staffed in the building, only an emergency number to call. Is dog barking an emergency? Unclear.
The property is beautiful! Right in the heart of the capitol and on the lake! Easy check-in. Make sure to mention you need parking for the additional daily fee. Fully furnished! I did bring a carbon monoxide detector since the listing did not mention having one. Will look to stay here again!
Everything was great. We could have used more comfy furniture. With 4 people and just a couch, it wasn’t idea for hanging out. Maybe just another big comfy chair or love seat.
