"Off the beaten path. Definitely need a bike and to be on somewhat good health to reach the condo. It’s a 15 min bike ride uphill. It was great for us. We enjoyed it very much."

"Beautiful property and arguably the best on the island. Quiet and secluded - not besieged by the island tourists like most. However, that means you must walk/bike a few miles or take a carriage to access shops, restaurants, and island activities, so a trade-off to bear in mind. The restaurants at the inn are noticeably more expensive than elsewhere on the island, but the food was outstanding and among the very best we had over our stay on the island. Our room was small but modern, comfortable, and very clean. The staff were friendly and seemed intent on providing a high level of service. Overall, one of the best stays we have had anywhere."

"First, the staff was wonderful and Pine Cottage is charming and well maintained. The breakfast was good. Our bed was comfy, but very limited room to put personal items, etc. To be fair, we probably should have limited what we brought to the island but this was our first time there. Sharing a bath with other guests worked out, but gave me a bit of anxiety. Again, this was fully disclosed, so I need to be mindful of this next time I plan a trip. The late afternoon tea/coffee and cookies was a much appreciated treat!"

"The place is so cute, make sure to check out the lamp shades ;) They have coffee always available along with tea and hot chocolate! The pool area is cool but it only goes to 3.5 feet so no real swimming for the adults or teens. Bed comfy, the place was very clean and the staff was super helpful every time we had questions. Just a tad overpriced but if you have littles, THIS IS THE PLACE!!"

"We had a recent stay with 7 people. The cabin was nice and clean and was spacious enough for 7. We had some issues with key cards and some supplies but those were quickly resolved. The front porch was nice and gave us a front seat to the Mackinaw City fireworks show right from the porch. The bathroom is huge, it probably could have been made much smaller and add more room to the kitchenette. It was also odd that in a cabin for 7 people there was only a small garbage can provided, like something you’d find in an office. A few in our party used the hot tub and swimming pool, nothing to brag about but they were functional and available. There is an attached water park to the property that we did not use. Overall we’d definitely stay there again."
