Experience the Fox Den at Shenandoah River in Luray, VA. This rustic cabin boasts 2 bedrooms, one with a king-sized and another with a queen-sized bed, complete with plush Bedsure linens. Step outside to a deck featuring a hot tub. With nearby river access, you can enjoy fishing or a leisurely float. Explore the wonders of Shenandoah National Park and stunning Luray Caverns, both a short drive away. Whether you seek adventure or relaxation, Fox Den is your ideal retreat in the heart of nature.
We require that guests have their ID verified with Airbnb before they arrive.

We have a $40 per hour unapproved late checkout fee.

Enjoy yourselves! Our amenities are for you to sit outside and relax 24/7, but please do so quietly. Outside of quiet hours, please refrain from yelling or playing loud music outdoors.

Please shower before using the hot tub. No pets, spilled alcohol, excessive lotion/sunscreen, bubble bath, or foreign objects in the hot tub. Close the cover when not in use. Any hot tub non-compliance that requires a drain and fill after your departure will result in a maintenance fee of $75.00.

Please keep doors and unscreened windows closed as much as possible. Bugs will make their way inside if given the chance.

Please do not connect security cameras to our wifi without informing us first.

Pets: We love animals, and welcome pets on a case-by-case basis. Our pet fee is charged through the platform at the time of booking when you add pet guests to your reservation. If you need to add a pet to your reservation, please submit an alteration request or reach out and we can send you an alteration request :)

Please keep your pups on a leash outside.

We loved the house it was just what we wanted and needed. The place was very clean and spacious we took 2 small dogs with us and it was perfect for them. Very close to what we wanted to do but still peaceful.

Cute Cabin

The cabin was just like it looked in the pictures, full kitchen, two bedrooms, just enough for a stay. There was a grill and a fire pit you could use and the hot tub at night was lovely. The cabin made you seem like you worlds away from things but really it was just a short drive to all the major attractions.

Adorable getaway

This was my first time visiting Virginia. It did not disappoint. I love secluded getaways and especially those that are welcoming of pets. My husband and I took our three pups for an extended weekend. The decor in the cabin is adorable. Very clean and organized. The area is so quiet that we were just happy to sit outside at night and watch the evening sky. The town of Luray is quaint and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Lindsey, our host, was responsive and helpful. We would love to visit again in the future. Thanks for accommodating our family!

Great get away not far from hiking and restaurants

We were looking for a quick getaway from the dmv area and it was wonderful as in as little as two hours we felt like we were deep in the mountains. I love how close it was to good restaurants like the West Main Street Beer and Wine Garden w live music and great sandwiches to the Asian Station where we sat looking at beautiful mountains on their outdoor dinnng area. The cabin was clean with lots of little touches that made it more than a basic cabin. The streets and bed were nice and we appreciated being able to relax our sore muscles in the hot tub after hiking in the Shenandoah area. We will be back!
