Beautiful amazing hotel near the lake. Upon check in, we were informed that we had been upgraded for our stay to a lake view room. Staff was very friendly, they helped us to get a taxi upon departure. Breakfast was great and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Top class hotel in a great spot

The hotel is well positioned along the waterfront and within easy walking distance from the station (using the funicular to come down/up the hill). It has enormous charm and wonderful gardens. The room was terrific and breakfast was a great experience. Overall a wonderful stay in a top class hotel.

Very cute - right on the Lake- gorgeous views- ICE machine in the Lobby. Swimming pool was gorgeous! Very walk able- little train travels around the village- great for orientation. There is a local bus that will take you from the train station- CABS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE- english speaking- Do not expect a normal wine pour-šŸ˜¢šŸ˜¢-2 fingers of wine is 15$- buy a bottle instead. High end shopping in the vicinity. Women alone diners are second class- Do not let them rush you. šŸ˜”

Unfortunately we only stayed at this beautiful hotel for 1 night. The Hotel is conveniently located on the tip of the plaza and across the road from the lake. There are many restaurants within walking distance. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable however, the pillows were very soft. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection.

An amazing hotel with wonderful staff

Wow! What an amazing hotel. It is so charming, is right on the lake, has a lovely terrace and a pool. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Our room was so comfortable and clean. The hotel gives you passes which you can use for public transportation (busses, trains, funiculars). We took full advantage of that perk! The hotel staff was outstanding! My husband had injured himself in another city and as time went on, it was clear he needed to see a doctor. The staff not only recommended a hospital, but even called the emergency room to see how long the wait was to be seen by a doctor. They really went above and beyond! I highly recommend this hotel.

It seems to be a very old hotel, but very classic. The outlook, public area and dining area are well maintained. Iā€™d suggest that the room needs to be renovated as it looks a bit shabby.

We stayed two nights and it was a fantastic place to stay! We loved having drinks on the front patio looking at the lake in the evening. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The best thing was the wonderful breakfast including eggs, ham, cheeses, yogurt, cereal and fresh bread and croissants. It was all very delicious and filling! Next time we are in Lucerne we are definitely going to stay here! Thanks for a great experience!

The front desk, dining room, and room service staff were outstanding: friendly, helpful, accomodating. The hotel property is FULL of character and is VERY well kept. On the second floor, there is also a large outside courtyard for your enjoyment complete with a full-size chess set! Transportation to the train station and buses is right outside their front door.
