「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」
「Lovely studio, but 2 things to address:
1 - the shower is not powerful when the heat is turned up.
2- The bed is 2 singles joined together, it's on wheels, any movement and the bed just slides across the floor, maybe change the wheels to locking wheels, simple fix
But I'd definitely stay again, lovely little studio.」
「A beautiful converted train wagon nestled in the Welsh countryside. Very well put together with most amenities available. Very comfy bed - small but well sized for a intimate break together.
There were just a few things we thought to mention:
1. No WiFi came as a huge surprise. Personally we (and probably most) assumed there would be wifi. We would’ve really appreciated this being explicitly stated.
2. There was practically no communication from the hosts, just an empty email with a pin on...
「Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. 」
「Great stay. Perfect to access the Brecons. Everything we needed in the studio. Very comfortable, clean, quiet with all facilities needed for our stay. 」
「Fabulous stay at this gorgeous BnB with charming hosts. Loved the spacious ensuite room with soaking tub. Breakfast was perfect and the shared living space (with breathtaking Brecon Beacon views) was so comfortable that H enjoyed posting up there for work. Would love to return for a longer (than 2 night) visit and check out more of the hundreds of nearby hikes. 」
「We found out quite late we have no hot water. We called the staff who said they'll see what can be done and call us right back. They never called.
I the morning, when we asked again for the water to be repaired, they tried a few things and said they should be OK in about 10 minutes. We waited 30. Nothing happened, so we gave up.
Also, the closet door was missing a screw and the door came apart. 」
