「I want to discourage everyone from staying at the Royal Frenchman… in order to keep this place to myself! Don’t stay here if want a modern hotel, with many modern amenities, lacking in character and charm. Don’t stay if colorful staff with a passion for the music of New Orleans ( which they bring nightly to the hotel lobby or courtyard) is not your thing. 「You can walk to anywhere in the French Quarter and there is a streetcar right in front of the hotel, so the transportation is very convenient.
The shared kitchen is spacious and open 24 hours a day, so I used it often.
The only inconvenient things were that there was only a small light by the bedside so it was dim, and in some shower rooms the water was lukewarm, and the breakfast selection was limited.
The cost of the stay was very reasonable, so I think it was great value for money and...
