Welcome to our beautifully restored 1942 family heirloom cottage – a cozy, character-filled retreat just minutes from Rock City, Ruby Falls, Covenant College, and all that Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain have to offer.

Inside, you’ll find a warm, inviting layout with plenty of room for everyone. The indoor stone fireplace anchors the living area, creating the perfect spot to gather on cool mountain evenings. Two comfortable couches and a Smart TV make this room ideal for movie nights or simply relaxing after a day of exploring.

Just 10 minutes from Ruby Falls and Rock City and only 25 minutes to downtown Chattanooga, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds: nature at your doorstep and city conveniences an easy drive away. This was an absolutely amazing cottage with a wonderful host family. It was central to everything on Lookout mountain, just a short drive away. Everything was so comfortable and we had everything we needed. Grateful for the soaking tub and the laundry access. The host was so thoughtful and my kids enjoyed making s’more’s outside by the fire. They also loved sleeping upstairs in the loft/attic space. I would definitely come back! My one daughter said one of our days there was one of the best of her life! Thank you for a great stay!

Luxury, spacious, cozy home

The best VRBO!!! My friends and I stayed here for a wedding at McCloud Resort and it was the perfect place to relax and close by to local attractions (hang gliding, Rock City, and Ruby Falls. The entire place looks newly renovated and is tastefully decorated. There is a large soaking tub as well as a waterfall shower head and they provided bath bombs, robes, slippers and coffee/ local goodies at check in. The owner was super friendly and responsive throughout our trip.

Amazing Mountain Cottage!!

I’ve stayed in many VRBO’s, but this one really stands out. The cottage is beautifully decorated and appointed. The location is fantastic and very close to many Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain sites. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed to prep Thanksgiving dinner. The beds were so comfortable! The owner, Derek, provided very easy and clear check-in and check-out instructions. He was very responsive throughout our stay. Don’t hesitate to book this cottage if you’re planning to visit the area!!
