「Fantastic location and value! Within walking distance from downtown and OSU campus (right between), just on the edge of Victorian Village and practically across the street from Goodall park! Very clean. A little noisy at night however from busy street. 」

「The property is a duplex, we got both sides. Each unit has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Upon arriving, the yard had a lot of litter/trash. I picked a lot of it up and threw it away. There was also a swept pile of construction debris right outside the back door. Inside, the kitchens are updated and nice. However, there was no garbage can in the one kitchen. We did see a lot of dust in the house. Also, bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Shampoo and body wash containers in the bathroom were empty....

「The good: the house had been HGTVed and was attractive inside, and the photos were accurate. Owner was responsive.To be aware: rough area of town, across from Section 8 housing (neighbor was outside with no pants), and garage is VERY tight for two cars. Plus the promised sofa bed is a blow up mattress.The bad: amenities were lacking. Literally no kitchen tools, so guests should not plan on cooking (or even reheating pizza, because no cookie sheets). There was also a dearth of blankets.」

「Overlook was the perfect place for my family (me, my husband, our two girls (15 and 11), and our little Westie) while visiting family for Christmas. The house was spotlessly clean and absolutely charming. The location is amazing, too, being so close to 71. Jake is an amazing host, as well, making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying here again when we are in the area!」

「Overall, we thought the house was very cute, but we’re a little surprised with some of the things. Back door doesn’t stay closed, unless the deadbolt is locked. The fact that we were asked to not flush toilet paper and provided with garbage cans with no liner, that was a huge turn off.」
