広くて静かで一人部屋としては十分だが、トイレットペーパーの残りが少なかったことと、トイレが少々窮屈だったことが残念だった。また、エレベーターがなく、階段が狭いので、キャリーケース持ちには不便だと思った。

Thank you for choosing us for your stay while the room services are available on request at this time due to the lockdown and covid-19 pandemic. With that, the building is historical with history from last 1867 so the infrastructure is not validated for any renovation so sorry for the trouble you had with the case in stairs.

中心地へのアクセス良好。親切なスタッフ。
スタッフの方も非常に親切で、最高のサービスでした。 部屋も私が泊まったところは比較的広くて快適でした。 一回がBARだったので、夜うるさくないから心配でしたが、3階だったのと、22時以降は外での飲食が禁止されていたこともあり、特に気にはなりませんでした。 ただ、エレベーターがないのが、荷物が多い時少ししんどかったです。

キレイで場所も便利
部屋は新しくキレイでスタイリッシュです。パブ内に受付があり、スタッフも親切で、立地も便利です。他のブティックホテルもそうですが、エレベーターがないのだけ難点。私はスーツケースが重かったので手伝ってもらいました。

BED BUGS . No response from Hotel. Could have been a good place but even without the bed bugs the cleaning was very average!!!

Bedroom very clean bathroom and shower great but had to squeeze past laundry and bags on the stairs. Staff very pleasant but we booked room for 3 no bedding or towels for 3rd person but tbh manager sorted this out but again on 2nd day no towels left for 3rd person i had to open fresh laundry bag lying on stairs to get these .

Cool place to stay, it’s over the Duke of York pub! Older building beautifully refurnished. The rainfall shower stall was awesome. Bhargav is an excellent host and super helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great crash pad in an excellent location to see London. The staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel offers a great place to get some sleep and freshen up. No thrills but the friendly staff and hot shower is exactly what we wanted when booking.

The gentleman that checked us in was outstanding. The tube was just a short distance away, the public transportation is so easy to use. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the food served downstairs was wonderful.

Nice room but !
The room was very good and adequate for our needs, however, the entrance lobby and stairs was in desperate need of revamping. The bar was not going to be opened until February and the door had been damaged and not repaired. We went out for breakfast. The man who checked us in was very friendly.

Great little room for very affordable price. Spotlessly clean and while bathroom was small the rainfall shower was excellent. For central London this is hard to beat

Absolutely incredible, would recommend to anyone, 5 minute walk to Oxford street, we went purely for winter wonderland which was a 10 minute walk away. On a lovely quiet street however round the corner plenty of dining, fast food and shops around. Travelling in and out of London was also easy and in a convenient place. Just wish we were told that Sundays is free parking so if you wanted to drive all the way it is perfect. The man I assume is the owner was absolutely lovely and so helpful. Offered for us to keep our bags there the day we were going home if we wanted to. No disturbance from the other guests. As well as a tv, kettle with tea bags and milk and shampoo provided with our stay. A very luxurious stay at a cheap price rate and would definitely be my first recommendation for anyone looking to stay around there. Cannot thank the lovely owner enough for how helpful he was and made us feel very safe from when we first walked in.

DO NOT STAY, BED BUGS!!
Do not stay in this hotel unless you want to be eaten alive by the bed bugs living here. Unfortunately I realised too late and a week later I was covered head to toe in bites. I seem to have had an allergic reaction to them too so became quite unwell. Have spent a fortune now on decontaminating all our belongings and a new bed. We emailed the hotel to warn them to deal with the problem but they weren’t interested, didn’t even reply.

Quiet location, super close to Hyde Park, restaurants, shopping areas and pubs. The room was good, just a little small if you are staying longer - but if you are out all day and just sleeping/showering it won’t matter! Wi-Fi worked great, the shower was awesome.

Kylppäri kylmä, eikä lämmintä vettä, mutta sentään haaleaa. Mutta hotellin tietojen mukaan respa auki klo 7:30 alkaen. Ei ollut, eikä vielä klo 8 ketään näkynyt. Oli pakko lähteä ilman mahdollisuuttta normaaliin check-outtiin, eikä matkatavaroita voinut jättää säilytykseen, vaikka sekin olisi kuulunut luvattuihin palveluihin. Heikko esitys.

Nice room above a quiet pub. Easily walkable from Paddington station, edgeware road or Oxford Street. Room is small (as you would expect in London and at this price) but appears to have been recently upgraded to a modern standard. Chairs are narrow and steep so if you are Mobility challenged (or unfit) ask for a room on the first floor. Overall, good for the price.

Perfect for a post party 1 night stay. I was on the 3rd floor and stairs are narrow but I only had a carry overnight bag so no probs. Staff helpful and friendly and I had no issues at all. Exactly what I needed it to be simple and affordable.

Hôtel très bien situé, à proximité des endroits à visiter dans Londres. Personnel très agréable et serviable. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de formule petit déjeuner. Les femmes de chambre sont un peu bruyantes quand elles démarrent.

Hotellet er nogle værelser over en bar og man skal være obs på at der kun er en snæver trappeopgang til værelserne og inden elevator. Værten var meget venlig, hjælpsom og imødekommende. Værelset var lidt små, uden det store aflægnings plads, så vi levede ud af vores kufferter. Der var ikke mulighed for at hænge håndklæder op, men de blev skiftet hver dag. Hotellet fremstår noget slidt, men fint hvis man bare skal overnatte der.

Disappointing
I ordered a stay with breakfast included as the Hotels.com (and the hotel's own website) showed photos of a lovely breakfast buffet. However, we learned at arrival that they no longer served a breakfast buffet - they ended that possibility a long time ago. They did however offer a complimentary breakfast (a juice box and some crackers to go. Not exactly great compared to the buffet from the website). The facilities were old, but somewhat cozy, but wires hanging from the tv and stains of paint on the walls were not helping the atmosphere. In addition, the room was not well cleaned. It was allright on the surface but just move the night stand a little and find all kinds of old sticky stuff that had been lying there for god knows how long. On a positive note: The staff was really sweet and helpful! But I would highly recommend removing photos of the breakfast buffet as it is just false advertising.

It’s not the Ritz, but I didn’t pay £70 for a night to get the Ritz. Perfectly comfortable bed and room with freeview TV and excellent internet connection.

Valitettavasti herätessämme ensimmäisen yön jälkeen löysimme sängystä kaksi elävää lutikkaa, jotka pyydystin juomalasien alle talteen vaatiakseni uutta huonetta. Majoittaja saapuikin heti itse tarkistamaan tilanteen ja valmisteli meille uuden huoneen eri kerroksesta. Hotelli on aikoinaan rempattu kauniisti mutta ylläpito on laiminlyöty: valkoiset harsoverhot ovat repaleiset ja kuluneet, kokolattiamatto melko kauhtunut ja sängyt kuluneet. Alue itsessään on kohtuullisen rauhallinen, mutta ei ns. aivan parasta ja edustuksellisinta Lontoota. En valitettavasti voi suositella oman kokemuksemme perusteella kenellekään.

Get a room on 1st/2nd floor!
Reasonably comfortable stay but on 3rd floor and no lift. Kettle did not work and had to fetch hot-water 3 floors down. limited restaurant menu especially as 2 of the normally offered meals missing.
