Had a great stay over the weekend. Only a few minutes walk from the tube. Staff were friendly and helpful. They are currently referbishing the rooms. Ours was a good size and well decorated. Good shower and quality toiletries. Noise is minimal considering the location. I would get new pillows as they were not great. Other than that great value.

stayed at the Cherry Room Hotel on 22 August. While staff were friendly, we woke to water pouring down the bathroom wall and through the light fittings. I called reception and the emergency number several times (I have a call log) but received no response. We were unable to safely use the bathroom or shower. I was later told this had happened before in the same room. As I paid for facilities I couldn't use,

Recomendable

Our stay was quite interesting. We arrived thinking it would be like the Google Maps- boy were we wrong. There was construction everywhere, and it was covered in graffiti and homeless people. Which was fine, but access to the park was limited, and as a solo female runner, I wouldn’t want to risk it. Hotel wise the staff was nice, the room wasn’t quite ready at check in but we could leave our bags. In terms of staff- better not need anything from them between 11pm-3pm we couldn’t find staff, and when staff told us we could store our bags on our departure date, all hotel doors were locked with no one around. The biggest pros are the closeness to the end mile station and price. Would recommend for budget reasons only.

Stayed here for several nights over the last few months, always a super chilled out stay, really easy-going staff with a super bar downstairs that has great vibes and excellent Pizzas! Rooms are always clean and have everything you need for a quick stay. Excellent price point considering the location. Will definitely be back again soon.

Great pub underneath with super friendly and helpful staff, happy to put Rugby on for us and added bonus if staying discounted drinks. Room was clean, bed was comfy and shower was great. Secondary glassing meant that even sat night was quiet and no noise heard from the pub either. Seemed to have a leak in hallway but didnt impact out stay and they were addressing. Tube close by and park, free parking at weekends 17 min walk away which was great. Would stay again

The room was clean & the staff were lovely. The only thing I would say that wasn’t so good that knocked the score down was the exactor fan in the bathroom was coming off the ceiling & the drainage in the shower wasn’t so good. The first water was pooling at the other end of the shower to where the drain was.

I’d recommend this hotel with a couple of caveats and if you’re ok with them then go for it. The location is good (a few mins walk from Mile End tube) good nearby eateries (Nandos, Subway, Coop local) to get a meal or snack from. Rooms are clean and the bed is super comfortable even in the single room. The bottled water in the room is a nice touch. Just be prepared that it won’t feel like a hotel chain, hotel is a bit dated rooms are small, and are over a pub so it’s noisy until about 2330 and has a different vibe. All that said, I’d definitely stay there again. It’s well priced compared to other similar standard hotels in the area 👍

Leuk ingericht hotel. Prima middenklasse hotel.
