Subject: Urgent Request for Refund – Misrepresentation of Property (Booking ID: )Hi VRBO Support,I’m writing to formally request a full refund for my recent stay at [Property Name or ID], hosted by Katya. Upon arrival, I found that the property was materially misrepresented in the listing, leading to a deeply unsatisfactory experience for my party of 3.The listing showed features that were not as described in reality. For example:•The shower situation was misrepresented: while the listing suggested a proper shower setup, it turned out to be a handheld showerhead attached to a bathtub faucet, with no shower curtain or enclosure, making it impractical and uncomfortable to use. Additionally the bathroom door did not close and seems to have a non functioning handle and lock that doesn’t allow the door to close. •The overall condition and amenities of the flat did not match the photos in terms of cleanliness, usability, or comfort. What was marketed as “cosy and full of character” was instead outdated, inconvenient, and far from the standard one would expect at this price point.The host, when contacted, dismissed my concerns and refused to offer a resolution, instead placing the burden on me to escalate. I believe this situation falls clearly under VRBO’s Book with Confidence Guarantee, which protects travelers against inaccurate or misleading listings.I am requesting a full refund based on this misrepresentation.
