A terrible experience. Advertised as a “ 5 star apartment “ .... filthy with broken beds , broken cupboards , no kitchen equipment , boiler broken so no hot water or heating , and a health hazard with a hole in the ceiling light with water dripping through on to your head in the toilet. Had to leave after 1 terrible night.

Absolutely disgusting property DO NOT RENT!! This and all their other apartments should not be listed on Expedia and have definitely not been through any form of process regarding the Covid - 19 cleaning guidelines as the place is not fit to rent with;
No hot water

Balcony doors that don’t lock
As well as all this there was no toiletries what so ever and no handle on the bathroom door so it could not be closed without you being locked in which is a fire hazard
They also ask for a large cash deposit so that they can accuse you of damage and pay back however much they see fit
Pls AVOID this apartment needs to be condemned!!

Check in was at 3pm guy said to come 5pm so i said okay then around 5pm he called to said the property he was about to give me its not available and i will have to wait till 9pm now so i wait az i had no choice, when i went to the apartment the apartment was drity also door handles are still broken also toilet still broken from my previous booking whice was 2months ago

The owner is very rude. We paid for a penthouse suite and got put in an ordinary room with no open windows so it was very hot. Once we entered the room there were dirty clothes in the washing machine, holes in the walls and the bathroom had no lock. The bed was broken and we had a bad night sleep, the Netflix and the wifi were both down and when we asked to move rooms we was refused and the owner put the phone down when we described our issues.

Do not stay at this apartment the place was Incredibly dirty ,the door handles for most of the doors were broken, we did not even have toilet paper in the bathroom no tea or coffees and very rude staff.Worst place I have ever stayed at.
Total catfish. Photos don’t show the fact that this is in a terrible area where it scary to walk down the street, drug paraphernalia laying in halls of apartment, and there was BLOOD on the sheets and headboards (which are cloth) of both beds. The carpet in the bedrooms is nasty and stained, and the rooms are barren compared to photos—there are no nightstands, and the washing machine was full of someone’s clothing left in it. The provided toiletries is body wash and hand soap left and used by former tenant—like bottles you buy at the dollar store. We left after finding blood on sheets after a few hours, and I had to argue with the manager who tried to blame me for state of e room because I checked in an hour early and they “didn’t have time to clean it”. Also, the towels were used and dirty. Photo below shows the “entrance”
Did not even stay. Felt like we entered a war zone. Holes in the walls, marks all over the walls and the smell of drugs and cigarettes was overwhelming. Then we were told the heat isn't currently working and they had the gas stove top on to heat the room. Horrible. The owner was nice enough to refund the entire amount because he saw that we were not able to stay.
We went to stay at this apartment and we bought 2 extra people not to sleep over just as guest for a bit. Then the owner came in told they either have to leave or we give them 50 pound extra. He said with this extra 50 we could also smoke
his property should be struck off hotels.com, it does not conform to any standards and will me me think twice about booking through the website on future. The property is horrendous in every way, hole in walls, extremely direct eg blood stains, bed stain, sofa covered in everything. This dishwasher was fully of dirty dishes, the bathroom door handle had been ripped off, the balcony door was silicones shut and you could see the hinges were broken.

Nothing about this place was “good”. Although the owner did attend to the required changes that were requested, we were still unhappy with the way the penthouse was presented to us. Severe damp in the bathroom, ceiling was falling apart, holes in the wall as if they’ve been punched in, en-suite light switch was live and actually electrocuted my friend, dirty bed sheets (changed when requested), fob to the building didn’t allow us to get in and we weren’t notified until very late that we had to use the back entrance (which was difficult to find), multiple problems occurred since we arrived, point of contact wasn’t the best and no 24/7 staff available for any problems that may occur. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone at all. Don’t know how the place is still operating to be honest with you all. Went to spend my girlfriends 21st Birthday in London with multiple friends and the only thing that let us down was the dream this “penthouse” had sold us online.
For the price, it is ok. Too bad owner neglects it
Overall location is great, close to DLR and metro.
Stayed here with a colleague came late at night around 2am, check-in was smooth and while I was scared of what I'll find it was positively ok for the price and location.
It was a business trip so only stayed there to sleep...the rest we were out.
The place has great potential, some TLC and this can be a stunning find.
Cleaning can be better but overall comfortable and nothing disgusting. Heating was good, hot water was available.

I am shocked Exepdia even promote this property. The property is disgusting, loo roll stuffed in the windows to block out noise, carpets covered in stains, dirty cutlery in the drawer, bedding was covered in stains, yuck! Broken wardrobe, barely standing. Hole in the bathroom ceiling, bathroom door handle is broken too. Curtain and rail broken, bed frame covered in dust...Don't go by the pictures!
I liked the views I liked that there was good communication. The towels were clean
I didn’t like the condition of the property. There were stained carpets, broken furniture and holes in walls. It’s a shame because it was clearly a lovely place once. The heating was not on. It was a very cold day and I had to keep my coat on.
My experience with these people was horrible.
At first I went to view the apartment and everything was good. The man told me the price and I agreed.
However, when I got to the place they decided to double the price and when I told them that that was not what we discussed and I wasn’t ready to pay that money, they told me that I won’t be allowed to enter the house without the full amount.
I can’t believe they did this. This completely unacceptable and time wasting especially cause I was celebrating my birthday.
