「Very friendly and professional staff, room clean. The only fault if you do not have own transport it was impossible to get a taxi also this meant you had to eat at the services which can be expensive.」

「The owner was very kind and helpful. I stayed on the first floor. He heped me to carry my heavy suitcase up to my room. The breakfast was great! オーナーのコリンさんはとても親切で、留学先の寮に入る前の重たいスーツケースを運ぶのを手伝ってくれました。 グラスゴーからバスで移動し、Academy street前で降りると徒歩5分くらいの場所にあります。駅からも近いです。」

I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. The building has a lot of character and history, but the room and facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. I was unsure how to operate the heater in my room, as this type of heating system is uncommon in Japan, but the staff were always happy to help and made me feel welcome.
